2019  Classes:

Foundation Skills 2.0  (Handlers Choice)

Motivational training to create a toolbox of problem-solving skills, and further develop a common language for you and your dog. A small class format allows us to design this class to fit the handler’s and dog’s skills.  The team will learn and recognize the benefits of Attention/Focus games, Wait/Stay, On/Off targeting, Come to heel on the right and left, Recall, Pivot games, Leash handling skills, Variations on Leave it, and as an experiment, Intro to cooperative husbandry skills. Learn how to install a verbal cue. You WILL need to work with your dog a wee little bit between classes to keep up with the material. 5-10 minutes a day. If homework isn’t you, that is ok, and this is not the class for you at this time.  This fun class is suitable as an ongoing training “Lab” for YOU and your dog.

Prerequisite: Teams should have completed two previous classes with their dog or have worked privately with a professional instructor.
