AGILITY  CLASSES-Move your training outdoors!  Emphasis is on improving owners handling skills, control, and strengthening the relationship with your dog.  Entry and Mid level outdoor class covering best training practices, dog sports etiquette, and using a variety of agility obstacles and ground handling exercises. Super fun, challenging and we never forget…it is just a game!

Ongoing Agility 3 Group Saturdays: 8:00-9:15 a.m.

Agility Group 3

This is a recreational agility class. Participants run drills and sequences, front cross, rear cross, blind crosses, 2 on 2 off contacts or running contacts, weave poles, etc. This group runs short intermediate level courses involving 6-18 obstacles.

Location: Santa Fe Dog Sports Field (20 minutes from Santa Fe, Espanola; 15 minutes from Los Alamos) Driving instructions emailed upon application acceptance. Dress appropriate for the weather.

Prerequisite: 3+ previous dog training classes and permission of instructor. Dogs should be generally friendly toward most people and most dogs. A bit of a wait and come when called are required.

Class size is limited to 6 dog/handler teams. Enrollment preference is given to ongoing teams already enrolled, so actual openings may be limited. (FULL)

Agility Group 3 (Bode, Fritz, Toby, Spectra, Isabella, Arlo)

Ongoing Group 3- Dates for this series: 10/24, 10/31, 11/7, 11/14, 11/21, 12/12

Activity level: Strenuous for dog and handlers.

Agility 2 Group-9:45-11:00 a.m. Saturdays

Enrollment preference is given to ongoing teams already enrolled, so actual openings may be limited. (1 opening)  

Agility Group 2   (Reese, Lexie, Sascha, Moppet, Lucy)

Ongoing Group 2- Dates for this series: 10/24, 10/31, 11/7, 11/14, 11/21, 12/12

(Gate Opens 10 minutes before Class)

Participants learn: Front Cross, Rear Cross, Aim Forward, Heeling on Right and Left, Start Line Stay, Intro to Obstacles, Tunnel, Hoops, Jumps, Dog Walk, Teeter, A Frame, and short sequences of 2-8 obstacles.
